Pine Lakes Homes for Sale

Pine Lakes is one of the most well-known neighborhoods in Myrtle Beach.  The Pine Lakes golf course was developed in 1927 and is also known as “The Grand Daddy.” Pine Lakes Country Club is sometimes referred to as the “birthplace” of Sports Illustrated but it is just where the magazine held their first sales conference. The history of Pines Lakes is impressive but it is the range of well-built southern homes and prime location that makes Pines Lakes a popular place to purchase Myrtle Beach real estate even today. Pine Lakes is located less than a half mile away from the beautiful beaches and is centrally located to be close to all the best Myrtle Beach restaurants and attractions.

The Pine Lakes homes for sale range from affordable ranch style homes to large estates. The diversity of the homes is a reason the community is attractive to many buyers. Many of the residents of Pine Lakes have owned their homes for many years and love to tell new buyers about the rich history the community has. Many of the homes have classic architecture and have traditional finishings like original hardwood flooring, fireplaces and brick exteriors. Some homes have been renovated or were built more recently and feature modern upgrades like granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Homes range in size but generally range between three bedrooms up to five bedrooms.

Pine Lakes is not a community where all the houses look the same and are close together. Many Pine Lakes homes have a large lot and spacious backyard. Though there is no HOA to regulate, Pine Lakes homeowners take pride in living in such a prestigious community and their properties reflect that. Most yards are beautifully landscaped with plants such as azaleas, crape myrtles and palm trees.

Living in the Pines Lakes neighborhood means you are very near the Pine Lakes Country Club and can enjoy exclusive membership with benefits such as pool access, tennis, golf and social events. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood in one of the most popular areas in Myrtle Beach, contact JP Real Estate Experts to learn more about Pine Lake.
